Trafford Housing Trust operates a choice based lettings scheme.
This means that we advertise our properties that become vacant and
ask that people let us know which they are interested in by placing
bids. (A bid is an expression of interest and does not involve
money)
- Before you can bid for a property you must be registered with
us.
- You can register with us by completing a form (below) available on the website or at one of our five area housing offices.
- Anyone can apply for a home with us, but we cannot except applications from people who are subject to immigration control
- After you have completed the form we will register you and send
you a letter to let you know which of the four categories (known as
Bands) you have been placed in
- The letter will also give you your unique REFERENCE NUMBER. This number is very important, you will need it to make your bids, so you must keep it in a safe place.
